Pastor Armando Hernandez grew up in Pico Rivera, California.  At the age of 21

Jesus radically changed his life.   He attended church at Calvary Chapel Downey but it wasn’t until attending Calvary Chapel La Mirada that he finally quit fighting God to enter the ministry.  He attended the Bible Ministry college and thereafter served as Associate Pastor, overseeing the Married Couples Ministry,  Men's Ministry and the Senior's Ministry.

In 2007, after much prayer, he stepped out in faith to start a ministry in Buena Park and God has miraculously raised many to come along side and support Pastor Armando.

Pastor Armando and his wife Esther have been married for 31 years and have three sons and five grandchildren.

Pastor Armando's favorite scripture is:
1 Corinthians 1:26-31

"For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God? and righteousness and sanctification and redemption? that, as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."
